GENERAL CONDITIONS AND LEGAL NOTICES
By registering, the applicant confirms that the information he entered in the registration form is accurate and that he agrees with the conditions of the event and the tender conditions of the runs. He declares that he is healthy, fully prepared for active participation and medically examined. He will follow the organiser's instructions and participate in the MTB Slavnik event at his own risk. He confirms that he accepts the risks related to participation in the event and will not assert any compensation claims from the organiser.
He agrees that the event organisers may publish his data, photos, recordings, and statements in the media without demanding compensation. The organiser will use and store the applicants' data by the Personal Data Protection Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 94/07). By participating, the applicant allows the organiser to process his data in its collections and use them for statistical processing, sending offers, advertising material and invitations to similar events. The organiser can store and process the personal data indicated indefinitely or until the applicant's written consent is revoked. The applicant has all rights by the Consumer Protection Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, no. 98/04, 114/06, 126/07, 86/09, 78/11 and 38/14).
A marathon participant registers with the organiser, pays the registration fee, and participates in the marathon. Under no circumstances may the participant overtake the vehicle marking the start, or fall behind the car marking the end of the marathon. In this case, the person is no longer a marathon participant and will be disqualified, and at the same time, the organiser's responsibility towards such a person ends.
Marathon participants under 16 must have parental consent and be accompanied by an organised group, as stipulated by applicable legislation. The responsibility for such participants rests entirely with the parents. The latter is also responsible if their child is participating in the event but they are not present.
The organiser reserves the right to change the event's content even after the registration has been submitted and the participant has paid the registration fee. If the program is shortened due to objective circumstances, the gift package or itineraries are changed, and the participant is not entitled to any refund of the registration fee. Also, the registrant is not entitled to a refund of the registration fee if he does not attend the event due to bad weather. The event takes place in any weather. The registration fee can only be refunded with a medical certificate. In this case, we charge an administrative fee of 5 EUR. If the event does not occur due to objective circumstances, the registrant is entitled to pay the entire registration fee without interest.
The organiser will do its best to provide the most accurate and up-to-date information on its website but warns website users that the texts are informative and, therefore, does not guarantee or assume any responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the website. All users use the published content at their own risk.
Since there are certain links on the event website to other websites that are not in any way related to the events and over which the organiser has no control, the latter cannot guarantee nor receive or forward complaints regarding the accuracy of the contents of any website to which it provides a link or reference and assumes no responsibility for the protection of data on these websites.
